Prevail Casting support effusive operational metal testing laboratory, which is accredited by National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL), New Delhi for carrying out Chemical and Mechanical testing as per ISO/IEC 17025 standard.
Details Of Testing Procedure:
Chemical Testing:
Chemical testing using Spectrometer ARL-3460 (made in Switzerland), which is well calibrated using setting up samples and certified reference materials.
We have ability to check seventeen elements in our spectrometer. (C, Si, S, P, Mn, Ni, Cr, Mo, Cu, V, Ti, W, Co, Nb, N, Al and Fe)
Mechanical Testing:
Tensile Testing
Tensile testing using Universal Testing Machine of 10 ton capacity, which is well calibrated.
It is equipped with Computerized Extensometer System to calculate Yield Stress 0.2% and 1% Proof Stress.
Hardness Testing:
Hardness testing in HRC and HRB is done using Brinell Hardness Testing Machine, which is well calibrated by NABL.
Micro Analysis:
Micro analysis using Olympus Microscope (made in Japan) with attached Digital Camera up to 1000X magnification and Automatic Computerized Micro Characterize Software. We can check following parameters.
1. ASTM Grain Size measurement
2. Linear Measurement/Angular Measurement
3. Inclusion Rating
4. Nodularity Of Cast Iron
5. Volume Fraction
6. Powder Particle Size Distribution
7. Hardness Indentation Mearsurement
